Sex and Gender in Pop/Rock Music is a multidisciplinary study of Anglo-American rock and pop music over the last six decades. Following the 1960s' sexual revolution, and helped by the advent of the birth control pill, rock and pop has continued to map the societal understanding of sexuality, feminism, and gender studies.
